Bio
Erika Tomiko is a passionate musical theatre performer, Erika is a dedicated and confident artist who brings both technical excellence and emotional depth to the stage. Her recent credits include Patty Simcox and Dance Captain in Grease at Tacoma Musical Playhouse, Kaylee and Dance Captain in The Prom at Pacific Lutheran University, and Urania/Thetis in Xanadu at Tacoma Musical Playhouse. She has studied under Marlette Buchanan, Tom Smith, Jeffrey Clapp, Louis Hobson, Leischen Moore, Sarah Seder, Jessica Wallenfels, and Jimmy Shields at Pacific Lutheran University where she is currently obtaining her BFA in Musical Theatre. She has also had the privilege to learn from Christie Lee Manning (UK), Jessica Lee Goldyn (NYC), Blair Bybee (NYC), Kenna Morris Garcia (NYC), and Christina Naficy (WA). With 18 years of dance training and 12 years of private voice study, Erika has developed a strong foundation in performance, allowing for versatility across a wide range of styles and roles. She is always ready to rise to the demands of a production with precision, presence, and professionalism.
As she is graduating this year, Erika is eager to enter the professional theatre world and apply the knowledge, skills, and experience gained through years of intensive training. Known for always being prepared and focused, she thrives under pressure and embraces every challenge as a chance to grow. Whether leading a cast as a dance captain or supporting an ensemble with positive energy and discipline, Erika is a natural leader who values collaboration, clarity, and kindness in every rehearsal room.
